Complete Balance PT

Complete Balance PT is an out of network provider that does not bill your insurance directly. Upon request, a Superbill with the necessary information required for reimbursement will be provided to you for submission to your insurance and applicable to your out of network benefits. All insurance policies are different, which is why it is important to check your coverage for physical therapy services. 

If you are coming in as a wellness client, insurance does not typically cover these types of services.

You are able to use your HSA/FSA benefits for all services provided at Complete Balance PT.

Complete Balance PT has chosen to be out of network primarily to provide patient centered care. You will be seen by the same therapist for the duration of your care, provided one on one sessions, and progressed through your treatment based on your individual needs, not how the insurance policy dictates you be treated. 

Through this patient centered approach, patients will see improvements more quickly by receiving skilled treatment the entire visit every session, not having to share that time slot with other patients, or spending time on an exercise machine unsupervised. 

Most in network plans require a copay, averaging $50 to $75 or more per visit. Those copays add up quickly and in network providers tend to require more visits due to therapists seeing multiple patients at one time. 

In Texas, Tennessee, Colorado, Oregon and Washington direct access to physical therapy care is available in at least some form, meaning you do not need a referral to be evaluated. At your evaluation we can determine if we will need to request a referral based on exam findings and expected length of care. Wellness clients never need a referral for evaluation or follow ups.

This depends... If you are a wellness client you may be seen virtually in any state. For physical therapy services a license is required in your state. If you reside in a state that one of our therapists is not licensed in, send us an email and we will verify if your state is part of the PT Compact, if direct access is available and if Telehealth is an acceptable mode of treatment delivery.

Please fill out your intake forms at least 24 hours in advance of your evaluation appointment. This allows for review of information, preparation of clarifying questions and more efficient use of appointment time. 

Plan for up to 75 minutes on your first visit. I like to get to know your story and complete a thorough evaluation to establish your plan. Not everyone will require 75 minutes, but I set that time aside to ensure I hear your story and do no rush through the assessments. Follow up visits are approximately 60 minutes.

Wear comfortable clothing as the assessments require you to be able to move around throughout the session.
